The Pre-Conference Workshop of Golden Jubilee Conference of KCIAPM was hosted by Department of Pathology, J. N. Medical College, Belagavi under auspices of KAHER which was scheduled on 18th October 2024.

Nerve & Muscle Biopsies – 25
Illustrations & Photography – 12

A Total of 158 delegates from all over Karnataka, and few from Maharashtra and other states had registered for the above workshops. There were 10 resource persons from various parts of Karnataka. Wide range of topics were covered during these sessions, which included from morphology to molecular concepts. All these workshops had been interactive sessions. All the resource persons shared their vast experience and expertise. The sessions were highly appreciated by all the delegates who participated enthusiastically. The delegates gave good feedback regarding overall conduct of all the workshops, regarding all the arrangements, the scrumptious food, the speakers & the sessions covered. The Pre-Conference Workshop was concluded as a success story. 

The Golden Jubilee Conference of KCIAPM was hosted by Department of Pathology, J. N. Medical College, Belagavi under auspices of KAHER which was scheduled from 18th to 20th October. The pre-conference workshop was scheduled on 18th October 2024. And the conference was from 19th to 20th October 2024. The Inaugural function was scheduled on 19th October at 10:30 AM. The event was inaugurated by the Chief guest, Prof. (Dr.) Nitin S Gangane, Hon’able Vice Chancellor, KAHER Belagavi, who is also a renowned Pathologist. The function was graced by Prof. (Dr.) M. S. Ganachari, Registrar, KAHER; Dr. Rajesh S. Powar, Incharge Principal, J N Medical College, Belagavi; Dr. Sujay Prasad, President KCIAPM; Dr. Vijay Shankar S., Vice-President KCIAPM; Dr. Aditya Agnihotri, Secretary, KCIAPM & Dr. Thejasvi K., Treasurer, KCIAPM. Dr. Vijayalaxmi M. Dhorigol was the Organizing Chairperson. Dr. Ramesh Chavan, was the Organizing Co-Chairperson and Dr. Manasi Gosavi was the Organising Secretary. The KAPCON 2024 souvenir, first issue of JDAP & Path-Varna were released during the inaugural function.

A total of more than 500 delegates from various parts of Karnataka, Maharashtra had registered for the conference. There were 31 resource persons of national repute.

Dr. Rekha V. Kumar, Consultant Pathologist, Sri Shankara Cancer Histopathology Hospital & Research Center, Bengaluru received Dr. M. R. Parthasarathy & Dr. A. V. Ramaprasad Silver Plaque Oration award.

The conference sessions included various lectures, slide seminars, panel discussions, and quiz. Wide range of topics were covered during these sessions, which included all the systems from morphology to molecular concepts in hematology, cytology, histopathology etc. All these sessions had been interactive sessions. All the resource persons shared their vast experience and expertise. The sessions were highly appreciated by all the delegates who participated enthusiastically in the slide seminars.
